Louisiana Bridal Boudoir Shoot Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot Bride with Bouquet Boudoir Session

Bridal Boudoir in Louisiana

He already chose you; he already got down on one knee and asked you to be his bride. He loves the wave in your hair, the curve of your back, or the sparkle in your eye when you throw on his favorite hoodie and snuggle on the couch with your morning coffee. Why not capture all of that in a boudoir session, and then gift it to him on your big day, or even as a honeymoon present?

Boudoir means ‘a woman’s bedroom,’ or intimate space, and that’s exactly what boudoir sessions are. They are *your* private space where you can choose to share beautiful, expressive parts of yourself with your groom. Throw on his old college t-shirt with soft tendrils around your face or break out your wedding night lingerie and I will create tasteful portraits that will make you feel amazing, show off your sensuality, and portraiture that he will want to look at again and again.

You have total control. I wouldn’t be a Tampa Bridal Boudoir Photographer though if I didn’t suggest how cute that oversized Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey paired with a cute pair of heels! I am here to meet you at your comfort level bringing out your sexiest, most gorgeous you.

Before shooting

When you confirm an appointment Stephanie will send you our welcome guide magazine containing helpful tips to help you prepare for your boudoir sessions. Make your Pinterest board with pictures of your favorite styles, beauty, and hair looks and pictures of some poses that motivate you. You can make your PinBoards secret and add me to your secret board (Corrine Boudoir, photographer – @corrineboudoir). Before your session, you have the chance to meet with Stephanie in person and tour the studio and browse through the Client Wardrobe.

A bridal boudoir photography session is a fun and fantastic way to do a dry run on your big day’s hair and makeup. It gives you a chance to feel gorgeous while seeing how your hairstyle and makeup will photograph on the big day. My makeup artist will do full hair and make-up before your session, pampering you and creating a comfortable space where you can be as adventurous as you want to be all while feeling confident. I love adding some of your wedding details into your session. Maybe a  backlit photo showcasing your wedding heels as your veil trails down over them: that’s a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

A boudoir photography session as a groom’s gift is also a fantastic way to boost your confidence! Many women haven’t had a professional portrait taken of themselves since their high school senior photos, so a boudoir session is a fantastic way to be creative and feel beautiful before your wedding day portraits.

Is there anything special I can wear?

There are so many options for a Bridal Boudoir Photo shoot and it opens even more possibilities than a typical shoot! If you’re wearing a special set under your dress for your wedding night I definitely encourage you to bring your bridal lingerie! Many brides choose a mostly white and pastel color palette for their bridal boudoir lingerie, but don’t be afraid to be bold and add a pop of crimson or black! It will definitely help you feel sexy! You should also bring your Bridal Jewelry, Bridal Shoes, and Wedding Veil, and if it’s back from alterations you can also bring your Wedding gown! I’ve also had clients bring along a bouquet that resembles their wedding day florals.

Same day reveal

This is ideal for everyone traveling to Tampa for your Boudoir photo shoot! Once we’ve completed a session you will be able to sit together and view your photos from the day. This is my favorite part of the day where we get to see how gorgeous you are and how we captured your beauty! We will look through and set up your order for the collection you love most and I send your images to our editor immediately after your session. (Kathleen is my employee and only edits for me. Before she moved to Maryland she was my studio partner and knows exactly how our studio works!)

Let’s talk about the presentation! Depending on the session, and the portraits we create with my camera, some brides like to have a large canvas designed to be hung in their bedroom, their shared dressing room, or on the groom’s side a walk-in closet. Of course, I am a big fan of canvas portraits, rich in color and texture and beautiful, but I also want to tell you about a popular gift, the “little black book” for the groom.

In this book is a tasteful collection of portraits you have created just for him, professional printed and bound, a keepsake he will have for many anniversaries to come. Created with the love you have for him, with the anticipation of being his forever person, a boudoir experience is a perfect gift for your groom! I know there are many bridal boudoir photographers for you to choose from and I am honored to be considered! I’ve been a professional photographer for 9 years and my mission is celebrating women, showing them the best version of themselves, and giving them a beautiful experience of self love.  Let’s chat soon and get you on the books: I can’t wait to show you how great you’re going to look.
