Today, I wanted to share with you the top 3 reasons why you should book your boudoir session, and more importantly today I will be helping you to make a solid decision of whether you want to take the step toward self-acceptance or spend your days instead of trying to find your inner light.

The thing is, boudoir is NOT suitable for everyone, That’s the truth.

I know of so many women who were only slightly interested in boudoir and wanted to feel pretty… but then they never got anywhere because they did not dig deep enough to truly understand why loving yourself is so important.

After talking to dozens of women, I have distilled the 3 main reasons why anyone would want to have a boudoir session and it might not all be what you imagined!

The first reason women are booking their boudoir sessions is the fact they have spent their lives taking care of everyone except themselves, and this is a special experience JUST FOR YOU. Think about it, for so many women, one of the first things in their life is to become a wife and then a mother. For the next 18 or so years, we take on all the responsibilities of raising functional human beings into this world. A full-time job all by itself! So we take the back burner and sometimes we forget that we deserve to be taken care of too and a boudoir session is a great act of self-care to reclaim that spark we’ve hidden away.

The second reason to have a boudoir session is to build confidence and love for yourself and to accept your beauty within. We’re bombarded with the idea that we have to be a certain size or shape or dress a certain way and we always have to strive for “perfection”. What I hope to help women realize is that they are already perfect exactly as they are. There is no mold for you to try to fit into. Embrace your beauty!

Lastly, boudoir is just SO MUCH FUN. When women come into my studio I always ask “Would you do it again?”. They always say “Absolutely!”. It’s a full morning of pampering and playing dress-up, and the photos we are going to create are going to be incredible!
