Are you a Vintage Vibe Gal? Or Bare Natural Vixen. Your makeup for your boudoir shoot is a pretty important part of the whole pampering experience. I work with some of the best local expert makeup artists to help you feel and look your best! Having great makeup and perfect hair we can’t go wrong!

There are so many options for hair and makeup for your boudoir session. Which is your fav?

What kind of makeup do you use for boudoir?

Makeup for boudoir photographs must be done correctly. You should always have a color that is not darker than the skin tone you have. Most looks will include foundation, concealer, eye shadow, false lashes, brow color, lip color, and bronzer.

A good makeup artist will know how to contour the face without making it too heavy. They will also be able to do a quality job on the eyes so that they stand out in the photographs.

The most important aspect of boudoir makeup is that it makes you feel confident.

You should feel like the best version of yourself.

I have gathered some makeup looks that will be sure to make you look and feel fabulous for your boudoir session!

Glam Boudoir Look

Looking for a sexy, glam look for your boudoir session? A smoky eye and nude lip is a great option for your boudoir session. Pair dark eyes with just a touch of blush, lashes, and loose curly boudoir hair and you’ve got the perfect platform for your look!

Vintage Pinup Look

If you’re in love with that Old Hollywood Vintage Style you may look for the perfect cat eye and pair it with a beautiful red lip color. Think of Rita Hayworth or Marilyn Monroe. They always managed to look glamorous and elegant! Once you have your cat-eye and red lips, the rest of your makeup can be fairly natural. Just add a touch of mascara, wearing false eyelashes and some blush, and you’ll be good to go!

Retro Girl

If you love color and want to explore a more fun, flirty style we can always play with some more vibrant hues. There’s a careful balance to have and a good rule of thumb is to choose one main focal point. If you love the shape of your lips, highlight them with a bright lip and muted shadow on your eyes. Maybe a bold smokey eye is more your flavor! Then we will stay neutral color for your lips. Rainbow, Peacock, Firey oranges, and reds, we can create whichever fun style that will amplify your great asset!

Natural beauty

When you’re not used to wearing makeup, you may opt for a more natural style. Typically we will apply a light powder foundation or translucent powder, brow pencil, and some subtle nudes and light to medium browns on your eye and lash line, paired with a nude or lighter lip for a perfect natural glow. False eyelashes can help make your natural eye look pop, and we keep on hand a variety of styles and lengths from soft and subtle to long and whispy!
